I somehow came in touch with Estela A. Cuadro in the past weeks and asked her about her work.

Who are you ?
I think that I´m a person who loves art, and I can´t live without it. The art is part of my personality. I was born on May 22, 1979 in Buenos Aires, I was trained as a graphic designer and illustrator at the University of Buenos Aires. I lived my entire childhood in San Antonio de Padua, a town that is out of the Capital Federal, where I started my first shop drawing and painting. The first incentive in various workshops continued for some years, recreating my imagination, until finally I began studying graphic design at the UBA. It was in this race where I found the workshop Silvia Mati illustration, where I learnt a lot.
How do you describe your style?
I’m currently experimenting with watercolors, Chinese inks and mixeando with other techniques. But the basis of my work is the Indian ink fluidity allows me to give more movement and expression to my works. In previous years I used acrylics and now much wanted to see what was going to use another technique watery. Also, I love mixing different natural products, fruits, salt, sand and chemicals such as detergent. I think what attracts me most of all this experimentation is to see how everything is displayed more fluidly. The motion generated by this technique, how to expand and mark the spots defined traits of characters, animals, and even landscapes. From them I still work with pencils, pens and acrylics, among other things.
Thanks for the introduction, Estela. Nice to meet you.
