100 days to summer campaign

Capetownmagazine.com‘s 100 days to summer campaign reached its final stages and tomorrow the winner of the 100 prizes will be anounced. I shot and edited this little video quickly last night/this morning. Enjoy.

More about the competition here.

Xote tumblr

This tumblr by a graphic designer in Turkey is such a chill-scroller. Beautiful.

I ♥ beetroot

I used to dig grocherie shopping to check out new things and just getting creative with buying new things and thinking of new recipes. Lately, I have been more lazy with this, there’s just not enough time in the day. But I discovered beetroot again and love what you can do with it. It’s always yummy, as a side vegetable, in a salad, as a juice, a soup … you can even dye clothes with it. And, it’s very good looking. (P.S. The BBC’s beetroot recipes.)

Mikado – vinyl and wallpaper designs South Africa

My good old friends Benieke and Maaike (sisters) finally have their website ready to share with the world what they’re doing: awesome vinyl stuff, wall paper and wrapping paper.
Remember the I love Cape Town sticker or the love tree?
So, check out Mikado, be inspired and order!
